Quick Install

One line Install

Be sure to have curl, git and gawk instaled, using a Linux Distro, still a Linux Distro but from WSL2 or MacOS. Then run the installer:

bash -c "$(curl -sLo- https://sherpa-cli.netlify.app/install.sh)"

It will do the following:

• A. Install the CLI tools if not already installed.
• B. Clone the Sh:erpa repo as ~/.sherpa
• C. Add to the $PATH ~/.sherpa/bin
• D. Initiate the SherpaCustomDir as ~/sherpa

Tools installed during the process, if needed:

• webi : The package manager from Webinstall.dev
• git : The standalone version (for Windows)
• Rust : With Cargo, to install usefull tools
• bashunit : Great and complete test suite for Bash
• jq : JSON manipulation tool for Bash
• pandoc : Documents converter with Superpowers
• aliasman : Alias manager for Bash
• pathman : Path directories manager
• watchexec : Tool for auto-build watch server
• shc : Bash to Binary compiler, using C code
• shdoc : Another docs generator, more generalistic
• shellcheck : Bash linter, and more, he will yell at you
• sherpa : Your companion bringing everything together
• yq : Portable cli for YAML, JSON, CSV, XML...

Once done, restart your Terminal.
